Uniform Information

  • WAYA Uniforms for Basketball are distributed and are expected to be returned at the conclusion of your season.
  • A deposit of $50 per jersey is due at the start of each season, cash or check.  This deposit will be returned for each jersey returned in acceptable condition.  Jerseys can be purchased to keep.  In this case your deposit will not be returned as payment for the un-returned jersey.  Please contact us with questions.

Coaching

We are looking for coaches! These are fun ages to work with as WAYA is a developmental league.  If you are interested in volunteering, a background check will need to be completed. Please contact waya.wisconsin@gmail.com if you or someone you know is interested in coaching, or if you have any questions regarding coaching for WAYA.  Coaches may also register on our website at https://www.wayawisconsin.com/forcoaches

Volunteer Shifts for Participation in WAYA Basketball

1 (One) Volunteer shift is required for all WAYA Basketball Players. WAYA requires a $200 volunteer deposit per family at the beginning of each sport season. This deposit can be made via check, cash, or money order and will be:

  • Returned or shredded at the end of the season if volunteer shifts are fulfilled
  • Cashed if shifts are not completed

Here are some ways you can fulfill those shifts.  If this requirement is out of reach for you and your family, please contact us at waya.wisconsin@gmail.com, we’re happy to help!

  • Coaching or Assisting
  • Team Parent/Manager
  • Field/Facility Prep
  • Concession Shifts

Our website provides the "DIBS" feature allowing our members to easily sign up for many different volunteer opportunities. More information on shifts and how to sign up will be available closer to our season start.

We are excited for another fun and successful basketball season with our youth athletes and families! Your support helps us provide the best experience possible for our players. Thank you for being part of our community and helping us grow the game together.
