Yearly Membership Fees are $50 per participant, with a family cap of $200, and are required to participate. Our membership year runs from July 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2025.  Late Registration will result in a $25 late fee per player and may not be accepted. If you are in need of a scholarship to waive membership fees for your family, please contact Becky Nordahl, WAYA Program Coordinator, at waya.wisconsin@gmail.com or by phone at 262-949-0554.

Season Dates

Flag Football (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6):  Practices will begin early August.  Games will be held on Tuesday evenings; Aug 20, 27, Sept 3, 10, 17, 24, Oct 1.  End of Season Tournament:  Saturday, October 12.  Practice days/times will be determined by coaches.

1st & 2nd Grade Flag Football Clinic information is TBD.  We will communicate with Members with plans as they come. 

Volleyball (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6):  Practices will begin early September.  Games will be held on Saturdays; Sept 12, 28, Oct 5, 12, 19.  End of Season Tournament:  Oct 26.  Practice days/times will be determined by coaches.

Uniform Information

• WAYA Uniforms for both Football & Volleyball are distributed and are expected to be returned at the conclusion of your season.

• A deposit of $40 per jersey is due at the start of each season, cash or check.  This deposit will be returned for each jersey returned in acceptable condition.  Jerseys can be purchased to keep.  In this case your deposit will not be returned as payment for the un-returned jersey.  Please contact us with questions.

We are looking for coaches! These are fun ages to work with as WAYA is a developmental league.  If you are interested in volunteering, a background check will need to be completed. Please contact Katie Johnson at (715) 530-1057 or waya.wisconsin@gmail.com if you or someone you know is interested in coaching, or if you have any questions regarding coaching for WAYA.  Coaches may also register on our website at https://www.wayawisconsin.com/forcoaches. 

Volunteer shifts are required for all WAYA Members.  Here are some ways you can fulfill those shifts.  If this requirement is out of reach for you and your family, please contact us at waya.wisconsin@gmail.com, we’re happy to help!

Our website provides the "DIBS" feature allowing our members to easily sign up for many different volunteer opportunities. More information on shifts and how to sign up will be available prior to our season start. 

The Whitehall Area Youth Association is a non profit organization; 501(c)(3) that was established in February 2016.

As an organization we are striving to provide youth sports programs and offerings to the area youth in a positive, family environment.
